Currently, we’re hiring a Sign Language Interpreter to work at a school in Saint Louis, Missouri. As a Sign Language Interpreter with SHC, you’ll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as a Sign Language Interpreter working in a school setting. Sign Language Interpreter Contract Details:
- $31 – $34 an hour
- Schedule follows the school district calendar
- Educational Sign Language Interpreter
- 2025-2026 School Year
- Hours per week: Full-time
- Start Date: August 2025
- End Date: May 2026 with option to extend for future school years
- Location: In-person
- Details: Full-time educational sign-language interpreter for the 2025-2026 school year to provide ASL interpreting services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Will consider PCED, BEI Basic, BEI Advanced or BEI Masters interpreters. Assignment options from PreK-12th grade with 1:1 or classroom interpreting model.

Requirements:
- PCED, BEI Basic, BEI Advanced or BEI Masters Missouri Sign-Language Interpreter credentials
- American Heart Association BLS
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred
